Job Description
This part-time RN 1 position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across all ages to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities include conducting age-specific assessments, collaborating with healthcare teams and families to develop and update care plans, and accurately administering treatments and medications using electronic medical records.
Providing patient and caregiver education, advocacy, and psychosocial and cultural support is essential.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC).
Successful completion of orientation and competency assessments is necessary.
The role offers Monday-Friday daytime hours, with no weekends, holidays, or call duties.
