The PRN Registered Nurse – House Supervisor provides leadership in an acute care hospital during assigned shifts.

  • Responsibilities include patient acuity assessment, staffing coordination, clinical problem-solving, and staff discipline.
  • Acts as a resource for staff, communicates incidents, and enforces policies to ensure quality patient care.
  • Leads patient care teams, makes patient and bed assignments, and fosters professional growth.
  • Requires RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state, with at least 2 years of acute care experience.
  • BSN preferred within three years.
