This position involves organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability after disease, injury, or loss of a body part.
Planning therapy activities using physical exercises, massage, heat, water, and utilizing mechanical, electrical, prosthetic, and orthotic devices.
Evaluating, documenting, and reporting patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements include CPR certification, a valid TX license in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) from an accredited program and 1-2 years of experience in acute, rehab, or outpatient care.
Good communication skills and a solid understanding of therapy practices are essential.
