Job Description

Seeking a travel RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Lebanon, NH, working 36 hours/week with rotating day/night shifts.

  • Must have surgical experience on a 32-bed surgical unit, caring for patients post-vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgeries.
  • Common diagnoses include ARDS, esophagectomies, Whipple procedures, and sepsis.
  • Patient ratios are 4:1 days and 5:1 nights, with shared responsibilities across units.
  • Required skills include managing chest tubes, drips (heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), lines, drains, trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care.
  • Travel nurses may need to float between units.
  • Ideal candidates have experience with post-surgical care and invasive devices.
