Job Description

Seeking a Physical Therapist in Oak Lawn, Illinois for an ongoing full-time daytime role.

  • Responsibilities include interpreting physician referrals, conducting various evaluations (musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, integumentary), and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Plans for patient discharge, provides home programs, educates patients and families, and manages care transitions.
  • Completes documentation, manages caseloads, and ensures billing and insurance compliance.
  • Performs manual therapy, utilizes modalities, and adheres to safety protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives and may supervise assistants, extenders, or students.
  • Requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Illinois licensure, BLS certification, and strong communication skills.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, patient transfers, and repetitive hand use; travel may be needed.
